Seed Counselling welcomes children, youth and adults of all ages.
We provide caring and confidential support for dealing with mental illness, depression, stress, addiction, conflict and relationships. We are trained to provide many different therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), prevention therapy, stress management, anger management, communication skills, marriage counselling and family therapy.
Seed Counselling is led by Dr Young Iohara, an accredited and experienced counsellor who will listen to, get to know and understand your story. Young will guide and empower you with the solutions, resources and supports that will enable you and your loved ones to thrive.
Young Iohara is a registered counsellor, based in Northern Sydney. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Young has provided supervision, both individually and in group settings. She has also lectured at the Australian College of Christian Counselling and presented at conferences for Australian Korean counsellors.
Young provides a respectful and safe space for all her clients, including Christians who may wish to consider and respond to issues from a Christian perspective.
